happy tuesday everyone! i am so excited to share a project from this past weekend. i have been looking forward to this one since receiving the invitation for sweet avery’s first birthday party back in september.
for real, how cute is that? brings me back to my obsession with all things ariel, and my hermit crabs named ursula and sebastian. though this is a seriously classy mermaid done right.
started with our mermaid…
and then added a school of fishy friends.
a first tier of lemon cake with ombre fondant waves, topped by a blueberry/buttercream tier. and because miss avery weiss is a social media rockstar, a bubble name topper complete with hashtag.
a special cupcake for the birthday girl to smash/enjoy.
and ocean ombre cupcakes to accompany.
loving this shot the birthday girl’s mom got of invitation mermaid with cake mermaid, who i believe is being preserved for as long as possible.
happy birthday sweet avery and thanks so much to mom ashley for letting me be a part of this very special celebration!
